How to enable email notifications for new submissions

On Pro, you can enable email notifications so Forms.fyi emails your account address when your form receives a new submission.

Enable notifications

  1. Open your form in the dashboard.
  2. Go to the Settings tab.
  3. Under General Settings, toggle Email Notifications on.
  4. Click Save Settings.

When an email is sent

  • Emails are triggered by new submissions for that form when notifications are enabled.
  • If a submission is flagged as spam (honeypot), it may be excluded from side effects depending on your configuration.
Which email address receives notifications?

Notifications are sent to the email on your Forms.fyi account. You can view your account email in Dashboard → Settings.

Verify it works

  1. Save the setting.
  2. Submit your form once with real values.
  3. Check your inbox and spam folder.
