How to deactivate or delete a form endpoint

Deactivate a form when you want to pause submissions without losing data. Delete a form only when you’re sure you want to permanently remove the endpoint and its submissions.

Deactivate a form (pause submissions)

  1. Open the form in your dashboard.
  2. Click Deactivate in the top-right actions.
  3. The form status will switch to Inactive.
What happens when a form is inactive?

Forms.fyi rejects new submissions for inactive forms. Reactivate the endpoint at any time to start accepting submissions again.

Delete a form (permanent)

  1. Open the form in your dashboard.
  2. Click Delete.
  3. Confirm the prompt.
Warning

Deleting a form also deletes all submissions for that form. If you may need the data later, export submissions first and/or deactivate instead of deleting.
